From Kakadu to Ballarat, from meeting new friends to being alone in the middle of Australia, from caravans breaking down to battling Australia’s crazy weather, our road trippers have all had quite a year! We’ve had a wonderful time reading all of their adventures, but the time has come to pick a winner.
Congratulations to Foxs Lane, the winner of our Road Trippers Hall of Fame 2011. Kate, Brendan and their girls have been travelling around Australia in their customised caravan. Kate regularly posts about their adventures and shares her insights from travelling on the road (as well as other cute posts, like how to bake a pie and customise a caravan).
As the winners of the 2011 Road Trippers Hall of Fame, Kate and family receive a great Explore Australia book pack including Explore Australia 2012, Cool Camping Australia: East Coast, Great Gourmet Weekends in Australia, Reel Locations, Hide & Seek Melbourne, 1000 Great Places to Travel with Kids in Australia and The Australian Beer Companion.
Foxs Lane was closely followed by our three finalists, Tom and Amy from Oz360; Belinda, Chris, Riley and Aiden from the Caravan of Courage; and Red Nomad Oz.
